England's Ashes tour of Australia has been hit by further problems. Star bowler Jofra Archer has been ruled out of the remaining two Tests of the series due to injury. On the other hand, the team itself has been in a difficult position due to problems on and off the field.

The English team has been in trouble after opener Ben Duckett was caught drinking and having a drink. For the last four years, the 30-year-old Archer has been out of the team due to various problems, including fitness.

His performance has been high since his return to the team. He made a comeback in the series against India. The fourth of the remaining two Tests in the series will begin in Melbourne on Friday. The fifth and final Test will be played in Sydney from January 4. Australia is 3-0 ahead in the five-Test series and has already won the Ashes series. Archer attended the practice session held at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Wednesday.

However, he did not participate in the training. Later, the team management confirmed that he would not be present in the last two Tests. He bowled a total of 80 overs in the Tests in Perth, Brisbane and Adelaide. He also took 9 wickets in the process. He was one of the lowest run-scorers among English bowlers. In the third Test in Adelaide, he took 5 for 53 in the first innings and also scored 50 runs.

Archer will now be replaced by Gus Atkinson. Jacob Bethell will replace third-order batsman Ollie Pope. Pope has scored only 20.83 runs this season. But despite the controversy, the 31-year-old Duckett has made it into the team. His performance with the bat has also been poor. He has scored only 16 runs. It is also reported that captain Dan Stokes has spoken to Duckett.

Stokes told the British press, "I have certainly spoken to Duckett. I have also told him that I have full support from my side. In times like these, no matter what you do, things can go wrong. As a captain, my job is to get good results. It is also about keeping the players mentally strong and motivating them to play their best.'

He requested sympathy for the English team, which is going through a bad rhythm, and said that this is the worst time as a captain. He added, 'Of course, this is the most difficult time. But I will not run away. I will lead the rest of the Tests of the series. I think I can help my players. It is difficult when the team is criticized from all sides.'

'Such a bad time will come in anyone's life. You should not be too emotional at such a time,' he said. The English team includes captain Stokes, Jack Crawley, Duckett, Bethal, Joe Root, Harry Brooks, Jamie Smith, Will Jacks, Atkinson, Brydoncars and Josh Tong.

Earlier, Australia had also announced that Dot Murphy has been included in the team in place of the injured Nathan Lyon. Along with him, captain Pat Cummins has been rested as expected. Steve Smith will captain Cummins in place of him. Other members of the team include Scott Boland, Alex Carey, Brandt Doggett, Cameron Green, Travis Head, Josh Inglis, Usman Khawaja, Marnus Labuschagne, Todd Murphy, Mitchell Nesser, J.A. Richardson, Mitchell Starc, Jack Weatherlord and Beau Webster.
