Nepal is set to participate in an international ice skating competition for the first time.
The short track speed ice skating event is going to be held from December 12 to 14 at the Himadri International Ice Skating Rink Center at the Maharana Pratap Sports Complex in Dehradun, India.
A total of six players, four men and two women, are going to participate from Nepal. Ramesh Moktan, Arun Khatwe, Xavier Jung Thapa, Sayon Aryal, Pari Guragain and Alka Ghimire will participate in it, according to the Nepal Skating and Skate Board Association.
Nepal Olympic Committee President Jeevan Ram Shrestha bid farewell to the players during a special program organized on Wednesday.
