Mahadev Secondary School has come first in the sixth President's Running Shield competition held in Apihimal. Mahadev came first in the municipal level competition held at Samtelichowd Sports Ground on Tuesday.

According to the Education and Sports Branch of Apihimal Rural Municipality, Mahadev Secondary School came first in the competition with 25 medals including 13 gold, 9 silver and 3 bronze. Bhavani Secondary School Sauganna came second with 27 medals including 11 gold, 10 silver and 6 bronze, and Khandeshwori Secondary School came third with 27 medals including 5 gold, 8 silver and 14 bronze, Education Officer Madanraj Joshi informed. 

According to him, Chipulkedar Secondary School has won a consolation place with 12 medals including 2 gold, 3 silver and 7 bronze.  The competition, which was held for three days, saw the participation of 4 secondary schools of the rural municipality.
