Nepal Police Club defeated India's Talatala Institute Club Kolkata by 26 runs in the Indo-Nepal T20 Championship on Monday, thanks to a half-century from Sujan Thapaliya.

 

Police registered their second win at the Gautam Buddha International Cricket Stadium in Bharatpur, organized by the Chitwan District Cricket Association. Police, who won the toss, were all out for 149 runs in 18.4 overs. Player of the Match Sujan scored 70 runs in 47 balls and Shankar Rana scored 19 runs from Police. Talatala's Aditya Chitranas took 3, Ataf Khan 2, Saurabh Yadav and Shivam Kumar took one wicket each. Police's Sujan Thapaliya, who scored a half-century, was adjudged Player of the Match.

In reply, Talatala was all out for 123 runs in 18.1 overs. Nikhil Rao scored 29, Prashant Srivastava scored 25, and Himanshu Singh scored 17 runs. Police's Rashid Khan took 3 wickets for 24 runs in 4 overs, while Shravan Yadav took 2 wickets for 12 runs in 4 overs. 

Deepak Chand and Ashok Dhami took 2 wickets each.

In the first match, Delhi Wonders defeated Nepal APF Club by 95 runs. Delhi scored 212 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in the stipulated 17 overs. Delhi's Priyansh Bhardwaj scored 61 off 30 balls, Mohammad Kaif scored an unbeaten 60 off 28 balls, and Ankur Kaushik added 39 runs. APF's Bhuwan Karki, Amarsingh Rautela and Salahuddin Khan took 1 wicket each.

In reply, APF was all out for 117 runs in 14.5 overs. Prajwal Shahi scored an unbeaten 28 off 15 balls, Sumit Maharjan scored 27 and Salahuddin scored 23 runs. Delhi's Harshit Sethi took 4 wickets for the loss of 19 runs in 3.5 overs. He was named Player of the Match. Ankur Kaushik took 2 wickets, Vivek Dhami and Dushyant Raghav took 1 wicket each.
