Global Business College defeated Birgunj Institute of Technology (BIT) by a wide margin in a match held on Tuesday under the National Infotech Inter-College T-20 Cricket Tournament.

Batting first after winning the toss, Global posted a huge total of 183 runs for the loss of 2 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Their opener Ravindra Singh Kunwar made a remarkable contribution of 83 runs while remaining unbeaten. Shubham Baral added 33 and Robin Mondal added 44 runs. BIT's Nikhil Patel and captain Prince Das took 1 wicket each.

Chasing the huge total, BIT was all out for just 83 runs in 3 balls in 19 overs. Captain Prince Das contributed 19, Nikhil Patel 17 and Maruf Ansari 22 runs.

Global's Anuj Thakur took the highest five wickets. Robin Mondal took two, Rahul Sahni, Abinash Kumar Sharma and captain Karn Bahadur Bishwakarma took 1 wicket each.
