The Nepal Premier League (NPL) victory celebration was celebrated in Rukum East, the country's youngest district and the only mountainous region of Lumbini Province. The golden trophy raised by this season's winning team was also present.

NPL is an unprecedented sports competition in the history of Nepali sports. Lumbini Lions, who won this year's title by defeating the first edition's runner-up Sudurpaschim Royals, celebrated the 'Champions Trophy Celebration Tour' on Monday in Rukumkot, the headquarters of Rukum East, while reaching all twelve districts of Lumbini Province to share happiness. Sports enthusiasts of Rukum East were filled with the excitement of this celebration.

Lumbini Lions, who became the first winner of the NPL, started this tour from Banke and reached Rukum East on the third day via Bardiya and Dang. After this, after reaching all the remaining districts and celebrating, a 'grand celebration' has been scheduled in Butwal on the last day of 2025, i.e., on Poush 16, and a program has been scheduled to celebrate the New Year's Eve. An enthusiastic gathering of sports lovers took place near Chipridah Bazaar and Kamal Tal in Rukumkot, east of Rukum, on Monday with the NPL trophy.

After the team representing this region won, sports lovers and Lumbini Lions supporters, who were still in awe after the victory, said that it was a great encouragement for those who love cricket and want to play this game to be able to join the victory celebration with the representatives of the same team in their own homes.
