Goals from winger duo Rafinha and Lamine Yamal helped Barcelona defeat ten-man Villarreal 2-0 in the Spanish La Liga on Sunday. With this victory, Barcelona has opened up a four-point lead at the top.

Brazilian player Rafinha opened the scoring from the penalty spot. Villarreal then lost Renato Viega to a red card.

18-year-old Yamal added a second goal midway through the second half. The result has left Villarreal in fourth place. Atletico had beaten Girona 3-0 in the previous match.

Barcelona have 46 points, Real Madrid 42, Atletico 37 and Villarreal 35 points.
