Nepal will face Zimbabwe, Thailand, the Netherlands and Scotland in the group stage of the Women's Twenty20 World Cup qualifiers. According to a statement by Netherlands Cricket on social media, Nepal and the Netherlands are in Group 'B' along with Zimbabwe, Thailand and Scotland.

Group 'A' of the 10-nation tournament to be hosted by Nepal from January 14 to February 3 includes Bangladesh, Ireland, Namibia, Papua New Guinea and the United States. The matches of the tournament will be held at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Stadium in Kirtipur and the upper and lower grounds of Mulpani. The top three teams from both groups will advance to the Super Six.

According to Cricinfo, Nepal will play practice matches against Ireland in Lower Mulpani on January 14 and against the United States in Kirtipur on January 16. After that, Nepal will play Thailand on January 18, the Netherlands on January 22, Zimbabwe on January 24 and Scotland on January 26. 

Nepal is organizing the Women's Twenty20 World Cup qualifiers for the first time. Nepal has already selected 20 players for the second phase.
