The host, Gyan Sanskar School, has won the title of the third inter-school national skate competition.
In the competition organized by the Nepal Skating and Skate Boarding Association on Saturday, Shree Shiva Nursing School came second and Alkapuri School came third.
Gyan Sanskar Principal Neelam Baniya Badu said that the competition played an important role in promoting skating at the school level and expressed her belief that it would inspire them to move forward in national and international competitions.
Skate Boarding Association President Achyut Khanal expressed the view that discipline, health and competitive spirit can be developed through sports.
More than 200 players from more than 30 schools in the valley participated in the one-day competition organized by the organizer Gyan Sanskar.
