The title match of the men's volleyball tournament organized at Dobhan Bazaar on the occasion of the Puse Mela will be played between the Sabhapokhari Volleyball Association, Sankhuwasabha, and the Bhojpur Volleyball Club.
In the first semi-final on Friday, Bhojpur defeated MMC Taplejung in straight sets of 27-25, 25-21, 25-19. Bhojpur's Amir Thapa was the man of the match. In the second semi-final, Sabhapokhari Volleyball Sankhuwasabha defeated Damak Volleyball Training Center 25-19, 22-25, 23-25, 25-16 and 15-12. The match was a best-of-five. The man of the match was Sankhuwasabha's Sahabas Ali. Both the players who won the man of the match received Rs 5,000 each.
The final match will be held on Saturday from 12 noon, the organizers have said. The winner will receive Rs 3 lakh and the runner-up Rs 1 lakh 75 thousand in cash prizes along with a medal trophy.
