Nepali/Gorkhali athlete Mo O (Sunny Magar), who competed in the marathon for Myanmar at the 33rd SEA Games held in Thailand, has performed excellently. The Nepali-origin Magar has also been honored by the Thai Nepali Association after securing 9th place.
Magar said that he performed excellently through his indomitable hard work, patience and dedication to the game and increased the pride of Nepali Gorkhali by achieving 9th place.
The Thai-Nepali Association Central Sports Department, Bangkok Branch Sports Department, as well as other ethnic committees in Thailand provided continuous support and assistance during his sports journey. These organizations provided necessary management, encouragement and morale-boosting assistance throughout the game. The association stated that Magar's performance reflected the unity, cooperation and international contribution of the Nepali community in sports.
The association said that Mo O (Sunny Magar) has once again proven that no matter where he lives, Nepalis and Gorkhali will always make the identity of Nepali blood memorable.
