A friendly cricket tournament is being organized by the National Folk and Duo Song Foundation, Gulmi. The foundation has invited the Federation of Nepali Journalists, Gulmi, to organize a friendly cricket tournament between two teams.

Baburam Pandey, Sports Coordinator of the National Folk and Double Song Foundation, Gulmi, said that the friendly cricket tournament was organized to increase mutual goodwill as art and pen always go hand in hand. He said that preparations for the friendly T-20 cricket tournament are in the final stages. He also said that there will be other games including cricket.

A friendly cricket tournament is going to be held next Saturday at the recently completed international standard cricket ground at BP Park, ISMA Rural Municipality-1. The tournament, which will start at 8:45 am, will also have cultural and other programs.

Mohan Basnet, President of the National Folk and Double Song Foundation District Branch, Gulmi, said that the friendly cricket tournament is going to be organized to make art and pen more friendly. Chairman Basnet said that the cricket tournament is expected to further strengthen the relationship between journalists and artists and unite them to establish friendly relations.

Anil Khatri, President of the Federation of Nepali Journalists District Branch, Gulmi, said that they are ready for the friendly game and such tournaments will benefit both teams.
