The competition, which will start from Poush 1 and end on 5, will feature teams from last year's title winners Bhojpur Volleyball Club, Sabhapokhari Volleyball Club Sankhuwasabha, Volleyball Training Center Damak Jhapa, Mukesh Memorial Club Sirijanga Taplejung, Constituency No. 'K' Taplejung, and Rani Volleyball Association Biratnagar Morang. The volleyball tournament will be coordinated by volleyball umpire Krishna Chongwang. According to Ganesh Karkidoli, secretary of the Puse Mela Organizing Committee, the winner will receive Rs 300,000 and the runner-up Rs 175,000, along with trophies and medals. The two teams that reach the semi-finals will be given Rs 50,000 as consolation cash.
The best player will be awarded Rs 7,000 in cash and Rs 1,500 will be awarded to the man of the match of each match, said Chairman Chongwang. The competition will be held at the Dobhan Bazaar playground.
