Renu won bronze in the women's under 47 kg weight category on Friday. She is a player who is in the Mission 2026 training camp run by the National Sports Council.
Medalist Renu and coach Kabiraj Negi Lama returned home on Saturday. They were welcomed at the Tribhuvan International Airport by National Sports Council member Ramchandra Shrestha, Nepal Taekwondo Association advisor and former president Prakash Shumsher Rana, and general secretary Hemant Dangi, as well as players from the national para-taekwondo team.
In the same tournament, Nepali player Sangeet Neupane won a silver medal in the U-23 men's singles (Class 7).
