Lumbini Shiksha defeated Kunwarbarti English Boarding School by a wide margin of 119 runs in the Late Sher Bahadur Century Memorial Inter-School T-20 Cricket match held here on Friday.

In the first match played at the Siddhartha Cricket Stadium in Bhairahawa, Lumbini Shiksha Niketan, who won the toss and elected to bat, scored 189 runs for the loss of 7 wickets. Vasudev Yadav played an unbeaten innings of 127 runs for Lumbini Shiksha. Asif Khan scored 19 and Javed Khan scored 14 runs. 

In the bowling, Anjit KC of Kunwarbarti took 2 wickets and Akash Giri and Sargam Tiwari took 1 wicket each. Kunwarbarti lost all wickets in 19 overs and scored only 70 runs. For him, Anjit KC scored 35 and Upesh Sen scored 10 runs. In the bowling, Taufiq Ahmed of Lumbini Shiksha took 3 wickets, Aftab Khan took 2 wickets and Vasudev Yadav and Afsar Khan took 1 wicket each.

In the next match, Lilaram Mavi of Rupandehi defeated Shanti Namuna by 2 wickets. Shanti, who won the toss and batted, scored 100 runs and lost all wickets. For them, Prasan Karki scored 19, Kosis Pandey scored 15 and Nitish Thakur scored 13 runs.

In bowling, Leelaram's Ayan Khan took 4, Faizan Khan took 3 and Krishnamohan Koiri and Vicky Mallah took 1 wicket each. Leelaram scored 104 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in 16 overs and won. In their victory, Mohammad Yusuf and Ayan Khan scored 17 runs each, while Ajay Kewat scored 15 and Lucky Yadav scored 11 runs. In bowling, Shanti Namuna's Rudans Bhattarai took 3 wickets, Nitish Thakur and Safal Pathak took 2 wickets each and Divas Aryal took 1 wicket.
