Radiant Public has won the title of the PABSON Inter-School Kathmandu District Level Students' Basketball Tournament.

Radiant defeated Newton 56-43 in the final on Thursday at the Laligurans National Academy court. Radiant's Suprit Lamichhane and Sugam Rana Magar scored 16 points each.

Radiant led 14-11, 9-4 in the first two quarters. Radiant trailed 14-17 in the third. Radiant secured the victory by taking a 19-11 lead in the fourth.

KVC finished third in the competition organized by Kathmandu District PABSON and coordinated by Nagar PABSON Tarkeshwor. KVC defeated TIA 28-11. KVC's Samarpan Nagarkoti scored 11 points. The top four teams received prizes of 30,000, 20,000, 15,000 and 10,000 respectively.

Radiant's Amosan Moktan was declared the 'Most Valuable Player'. Newton's Ujjwal Shrestha, who scored 60, was named the highest scorer.

The winners were awarded by Central PABSON Co-Chairman Gopal Acharya, District PABSON Kathmandu President Nawaraj Bhatta, District PABSON Kathmandu Vice-Chairman and ECA Department Head Dhan Bahadur Pun, City PABSON Tarkeshwor President Gopal Budhathoki, and others. 36 teams competed in the four-day competition on a knockout basis.
