The host, Thalang Sporting Club, has won the title of the club-level men's football tournament organized in Mikwakhola Rural Municipality-4, Thalang on the occasion of Chasok Tangnam.

The host club won the title by defeating Red Devils Football Club Ilam by a margin of 5-3 goals in a penalty shootout in the final held on Monday. As both teams scored one goal each in the stipulated time, the winner was decided through a penalty shootout.

The winner received Rs 152,000 and the runner-up Red Devils received Rs 100,000 along with a medal and certificate. Among the players who performed well in the final, Nisam Danuwar of Ilam was declared the best defender of the tournament, while Sunyojit Yakso of Thalang was the best defender, Pawan Limbu the best player and Shekhar Rai of Ilam the high scorer. They received trophies along with Rs 5,000 each. The tournament began on Mangsir 18.
