Tejaswi and Paramount won the 19th Valley Public Inter-School Basketball Tournament on Saturday.

On Saturday, at the Valley Public court in Bhangal, Budhanilkantha Municipality-8, Tejashwi defeated Himshila 24-19 and Paramount defeated BMCA 21-15 in the junior boys' category. Paramount's Sabin Tamang scored the highest score of 7. In the other match, Paramount lost to Newton 36-26. Newton's Unique Karki scored 12 points. Himshila lost to Odyssey 24-18. Odyssey's Sohan Tamang scored 11 points. In the same category, Angels Heart defeated Valley Public 30-20. Aksha Ghal scored the highest score of 11 for Angels Heart.

In the junior boys category, LNA defeated Newton 29-21 with 11 points from Vivek Ghimire. Bhadrakali defeated Rajan Memorial 16-11, with Devans Giri contributing 6 points. In the senior boys, Bodhisadhan defeated Rosemary 31-21. Sohan Khadka of Bodhisadhan scored 8 points.

In the senior boys, Bhadrakali defeated Belmont 32-22. In the senior girls, JB defeated Belmont 23-15, KVKSS defeated TIA 16-11, Newton defeated White Mountain 28-18, Vidya Vikas defeated Manjari 41-25, and Landmark defeated EBA 19-17.

The tournament will continue till Mangsir 29. 29 teams are competing in the senior boys and 27 teams each in the senior girls and junior boys.
