The futsal field constructed in the Tokmedanda area of ​​the district headquarters, Phungling, has come into operation. It was built by grandchildren Tika, Jagat and great-granddaughter Nayan Maden in memory of their grandfather Kul Bahadur Maden and Boju Karnamaya Maden.

The district's first futsal ground has been named 'Kulkarna Futsal' after Bajebojus. His son Durga Prasad inaugurated it.

Jagat informed that Rs 15 million has been spent on the construction of the 30-meter long, 18-meter wide and 29-foot high structure. There is 10 ropanis of land under construction.

The game will be played here from 5 am to 10 pm. Futsal, which has competitions and structures such as volleyball, football, badminton, table tennis, etc., has been brought into operation for the first time in the district.
