Janakpur Bolts have set a target of 133 runs against Lumbini Lions in Friday's match of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) 2025. Janakpur scored 132 runs for the loss of six wickets in 20 overs.

Defending champions Janakpur are under pressure to win this match to maintain their challenge in the tournament. Batting first after winning the toss at the Tribhuvan University Cricket International Ground, Kirtipur, Janakpur could not post the expected score.

The highest individual score for them was 45 runs scored by Sangeeth Kure. Opener Maj Sadakat scored only six runs. Another opener Asif Sheikh scored 20 runs in 17 balls.

Anil Sah also could not score more than seven runs. Shubh Kansakar was also dismissed for 11 runs. Only 14 runs were possible from the bat of Sanjay Krishnamurthy. Mayan Yadav contributed 27 runs.

Among Lumbini's bowlers, Sher Malla took two wickets for 20 runs. Similarly, captain Rohit Poudel also took two wickets for 15 runs.
