Nepal Police Club's Sumit Bista has won a gold medal in the 13th Korean Ambassador Taekwondo Competition. He won the gold medal in the men's under 58 kg weight category by defeating Army's Bikash Rai on Wednesday at the Academy Hall of the Nepal Taekwondo Association in Satdobato.

 Sumit is a player in special training for Mission 2026. APF Club's Rupesh Tamang and Apsulut Taekwondo Dojang's Sujan Gurung won bronze medals. 

In the senior women's under 46 kg weight category, APF's Anjali Kumari Saud defeated Army's Santoshi Rai in the final to win gold. Police's Prakriti Pali and Barhathawa Dojang's Jasmine Gurung won bronze. In the junior men's under 48 kg weight category, Aitram Dojang's Nishan Pyakurel won gold and Kanchanpur's Samir Kunwar won silver, Sunsari's Rajdevi Dojang's Risika Bhujel won gold and Lions Martial Arts' Sonia Tamang won silver, and in the student under 29 kg weight category, Swastik Dojang's Prasidh Tamang won gold and Shree Siddhartha Dojang's Rochak Pudasaini won silver.
