He is Bindaman Lamichhane of Lalugaun, Narharinath Rural Municipality-9, Kalikot. He is 29 years old and is a good bodybuilding and weightlifting athlete. He has won awards at home and abroad for playing sports. But for the past year, he has been in the news more for his mustache than for being an athlete.
Everyone knows him because of his attractive and curly mustache. Wherever he goes, more people follow him. Because of his mustache, he is everyone's choice. They ask for him. They love him. Along with his mustache, his hair is also attractive. He looks even better when matched with his hair style and mustache.
His name has changed because of his mustache. He is known as the Mustache Judge these days. Because he is the national judge of strengthlifting. He became the attraction of everyone when he was the judge of the first Kapilvastu Tilaurakot Iron Men and Women Cup National Strengthlifting and Incline Bench Press Competition held on Mangsir 12 and 13.

There are also those who take photos and selfies with him. He has been to Jhapa, West Nawalparasi, Banke and Rupandehi as a judge in strengthlifting competitions. He has started growing a mustache for a year now. He says, "I get more inquiries about my mustache than the sport. That's why I feel like I did a good job." He is also eager to grow a mustache because of the enthusiasm and encouragement of many. He currently lives in the federal capital, Kathmandu. "Wherever I go, there is talk about my mustache," he said. Although growing a mustache seems normal, he said that it takes a lot of time and money. "You have to wash your mustache with shampoo every day. You have to go to a salon twice a week to get it trimmed," he said. "It costs 400 rupees at a time." A small part of the income is spent on moustache management.’ On the other hand, moustache also causes problems while eating. Food gets stuck on moustache. You have to sit with a separate napkin to clean it. ‘You can’t eat as fast as others,’ he said. ‘You have to eat carefully and take your time.’
Three years ago, when he went to Rajasthan, India to participate in an international strengthlifting competition, he saw a moustache growing there. ‘I had seen the notorious Indian sandalwood smuggler Veerappan grow a similar moustache,’ he said. ‘Even though his criminal deeds were bad, his moustache was good.’ He said that after visiting Rajasthan, he was impressed by his moustache and started growing a moustache. 
In fact, he is happy to think that a person’s identity can be established through moustache. ‘Wherever I have been, I have received respect and honor. My moustache has increased my self-esteem.’ I have respected him . It makes me feel proud . What more could I want ?’ he added .
Jeevan Giri, Central General Secretary of Nepal Strengthlifting Federation, said that Lamichhane’s mustache is also being discussed in the Strengthlifting Federation. His identity has changed because of the mustache . He has shown the importance of a seemingly ordinary mustache . He said that it has become easy for him to be recognized anywhere, and it has also increased the dignity of our federation .
