The National Sports Council has announced that she passed away on Tuesday evening. Kamal Bahadur Bhattarai, a member of the National Sports Council's executive committee, draped the council's flag over the body of coach Darshandhari and paid tribute.
Coaches, players and staff members paid tribute to coach Darshandhari at a condolence meeting held at the council's headquarters on Wednesday. Darshandhari had been working as a gymnastics coach at the council since 2052 Bhadra. Her family is survived by her husband.
