South African cricket legend Faf du Plessis has arrived in Nepal to play in the NPL. He has joined Biratnagar Kings for the second season of the NPL.

However, he came late to play in the NPL due to the Abu Dhabi T-10. Biratnagar Kings have already played 5 group stage matches. Now they have 2 group stage matches to play. 

Faf du Plessis arrives in Nepal to play in NPL Du Plessis made his ODI debut against India in 2011 and Test against Australia in 2012. He scored half-centuries in both. He has scored more than 4,000 runs in 69 Tests and more than 5,500 runs in 143 ODIs. He has also scored more than 1,500 runs in 50 Twenty20 Internationals.

His experience is even greater in global franchise competitions. He has played in almost all franchise leagues around the world. He won the Indian Premier League (IPL) title with Chennai Super Kings in 2018 and 2021.

Faf du Plessis arrives in Nepal to play in NPL He came in 2012 and played for Chennai till 2021. Du Plessis, who played for Royal Challengers Bangalore in 2022, 23, 24, played for Delhi Capitals in the last IPL.
