A club-level invitational volleyball tournament is scheduled to be held in Bhambak, Rampur, Rampur Municipality, Palpa. The Bhambak United Youth Club in Rampur is organizing the tournament for the second time.
The competition, which is being organized to attract youth to sports and promote volleyball and encourage new players, will be held until November 20.
The District Volleyball Association Palpa, Armed Police Force (APF) Kaski Pokhara, the organizers Bhambak United Youth Club, District Volleyball Association Nawalpur, Horizon Volleyball Club Rupandehi, Manimukunda Volleyball Club Rupandehi, and District Volleyball Association Syangja will participate in the competition, informed Sports Coordinator Anup Malla.
The first place winner in the competition organized by Bhambak United Youth Club under the patronage of Rampur Municipality will receive a cash prize of 200,000. The second place winner will receive 100,000, the third place winner 50,000, and the consolation prize of 30,000, medals, trophies, and certificates. The best player will receive 10,000 in cash.
The best spiker, libero, setter, server, and mid blocker will receive 5,000 each in cash prizes, according to club president Balkrishna Kumal. Three players who have played at the national and international levels will be participating in the competition.
The competition has been organized in coordination with the District Volleyball Association, in collaboration with the Rampur Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Municipal Sports Development Committee.
