Malaysia all out for 51 against Nepal

Nepal bowled out Malaysia for 51 runs in the semi-final of the ACC U-19 Premier Cup cricket after opening bowlers Nitesh Kumar Patel and Chandan Ram put up a brilliant bowling performance.

In the ongoing tournament in the UAE, Malaysia, which was invited to bat after Nepal won the toss, was bowled out for 51 runs in just 17.2 overs at the Seven District Ground 2 in Ajman.

Nitesh took 24 in 8 overs with 2 maidens and Chandan took 1 maiden in 5 overs with 17 runs for 3 wickets. Undefeated Poudel captain Ashok Dhami and Roshan Bishwakarma took 1 wicket each.

Apart from Mohammad Fathul Muin, who batted at number nine for Malaysia, scoring 11 and Hamzah Pangi scoring 13 runs, no other player could score double figures. When Malaysia scored 13 runs in the eighth over and lost 7 wickets, these two extended the innings a bit.

Nepal had defeated Saudi Arabia and Hong Kong and reached the semi-finals as group winners.
