Kathmandu Gorkhas registered their second win in the Nepal Premier League (NPL) cricket on Tuesday, beating Lumbini Lions by 22 runs.
Gorkhaz, who were invited to bat after losing the toss, scored 157 runs in 20 overs for the loss of 8 wickets at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Stadium in Kirtipur. In reply, Lumbini was all out for 135 runs in 19.1 overs.

The Nepal Cricket Association (CAN) has honored the Nepali team that became the runners-up of the first Blind Women's T20 World Cup. The Nepali blind women's team was felicitated at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Stadium in Kirtipur before the start of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) match between Kathmandu Gorkhas and Lumbini Lions on Tuesday.
A cheque of Rs 1 million was presented to the Nepali women's team in the presence of officials from CAN and Nepal Blind Cricket Association. Nepal lost to India by 7 wickets in the final held in Sri Lanka. Seven nations participated in the tournament. Prime Minister Sushila Karki invited the Nepali blind women's team to Baluwatar and congratulated them, which arrived in Kathmandu on Monday.
