Nepali ultra/trail runner Dawa Tamang will compete in the Kosciuszko 100 Ultra/Trail (UTMB) race. Dawa will travel to Australia on Saturday to participate in the race on Mangsir 12.
This will be the first international participation of Dawa, a runner who is also the chairman of Kalika Rural Municipality-1 in Rasuwa district. Dawa, who is also a karate player and coach, will compete in the 100-kilometer distance. Dawa has been active in this category for a year.
Xtape Nepal has sponsored Dawa, a silver medalist in the World Extreme Fistel 100 Ultra, for his tour to Australia.
