Germany and the Netherlands have also qualified for the 2026 World Cup. The European football powerhouse secured an easy win on Monday to secure a place in the World Cup to be held in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
A draw was enough for both teams to qualify. In Group ‘A’, Germany defeated Slovakia 6-0. After this victory, Germany has 15 points. Slovakia finished second with 12 points and will now play the play-offs.
The Netherlands defeated Lithuania 4-0 in Group ‘G’ and has 20 points. Poland finished second in that group with 17 points and will also play the play-offs.
Now the play-offs involving 16 teams will be held in March.
