TIA defeated NIMS 40-37 in the thrilling boys' final held on home court on Sunday. TIA's Suman Nagarkoti scored 15 points . Wilson Academy came third .
Valley Public defeated Chelsea World School 25-15 in the girls' title match . Valley Public's Lorisha Gauchan scored 12 . Greenland came third .
The highest scorers of the final, Suman and Lorisha, were declared the 'Most Valuable Players' in their respective categories .
The winners were awarded by Provincial Sports Development Council, Bagmati Province Member-Secretary Deepak Lama, TIA Director Karma Sonam Wangdi Sherpa, TIA Principal Nira Pradhan and others . TIA's ECA/CCA Head Ujjwal Rijal said that 40 teams, including 24 in the boys' category and 16 in the girls' category, competed.
