Kisk and Elite Basketball Academy have won the third Oasis Cup Valley-wide inter-school three-by-three basketball tournament.

Kisk, which won the double title, became the champion in the senior and junior boys. Elite came first in the SEE.

Kisk defeated Radiant Public by a score of 17-10 in the senior boys final at the host Oasis School. Brooks Jensen of Kisk scored 8 points. In the junior boys final, Kisk defeated Gyanodaya by 8-6. Jay Maharjan of Kisk scored 7 points.

Elite defeated the host Oasis by 19-15 in the SEE title match. Pradeen Bohra of the winner scored. The winner received 10,000 and the runner-up 5,000. Pradeen of Elite was declared the ‘Most Valuable Player’. Jason Rana Magar of Oasis became the highest scorer. Both received 3,000 points each.

Brooks of Kisk and Jay of Kisk were named the ‘Most Valuable Player’ in the Senior Boys and Junior Boys, respectively. Susanraj Neupane of Radiant and Yunish Syangtan of Gyanodaya were the top scorers in the Senior Boys and Junior Boys, respectively.

The winners were awarded by Oasis founder Januka Limbu, executive director Minkumar Limbu and principal Neelam Bhattarai, and Binod Maharjan, a national men’s basketball team player and Oasis coach.
