Mahendra Adarsh School has won the fourth Lions Cup Girls Futsal Tournament. In the final match of the futsal tournament organized by the Lions Club of Lalitpur Royal Friends, Mahendra Adarsh School defeated Mahalaxmi School in a penalty shootout after a goalless draw in regulation time.
In the competition, in which a total of 17 schools participated, Valley Public School came third and Vishwamitra Ganesh Secondary School came fourth.
The best player in the competition, which began on Kartik 24 and ended on Kartik 26, was Karina Tamang, while Minjal Lama was the top scorer.
The winning players and schools were presented with trophies, medals and certificates, as well as school bags, stationery, and various materials, including gifts received from the Cade Company, by the chief guest of the competition, Mahalaxmi Municipality Deputy Mayor Laxmi Maharjan, Lions Club District Governor Lion Mahesh Acharya, Lions Club of Lalitpur Royal Friends President Shrishti Bajracharya, and District Chief Sports and Road Safety Lion Dipras Shakya.
