The work of installing floodlights at the Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground, Kirtipur, has been completed. According to Saurabh Shah, project manager of construction company Bishan-Ishwari Joint Venture, Lalitpur, the floodlights have been installed on the six poles placed on the ground.

The Nepal Cricket Association (CAN) has made public the schedule on Sunday, stating that 23 out of the total 32 matches of the second edition of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) will be played under floodlights. The second edition of the NPL is being held from November 1.
If the remaining 5 percent of the work is completed on time, it will be the first time that franchise cricket will be played under floodlights in Nepal.
CAN has already organized many national and international cricket tournaments on this ground under lease from Tribhuvan University.
