The All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) and top division clubs reached an agreement on Tuesday to hold an 'A' Division league after 120 years.

Youth and Sports Minister Bablu Gupta had called ANFA and the club for discussions at the Sports Ministry in Singha Durbar. In the meantime, a new date for the 'A' Division League has been fixed. During the discussions, ANFA proposed a new date for the competition.
Earlier, ANFA and the club had agreed to hold the national league from Poush 9. On that occasion, the 'A' Division League was planned to be held only in Poush next year. Football players, however, demonstrated against it and also staged a sit-in at the ANFA headquarters in Satdobato.
