Various organizations, including the Athletics Association of Panchthar, are planning to hold a competition on Kartik 25, the 141st birth anniversary of Nepal's 16th national hero and the founder of the Kirat religion, Falgunanda Lingden.

This time, it was announced through a press conference organized to inform the participants about the preparations for organizing the competition at a distance of 21 kilometers for the open men and 6 kilometers for the women, children and veterans.
The marathon will start from Labrekuti, Falgunanda's workplace, and will end in Labrekuti, via Kanchhi Dokan, Pauwa Bhanjyang, Djoje Danda, informed the district president of the organizing Athletics Association, Purnahang Tumbapo (Renzo).
The first, second and third place winners in the open men's competition will receive 30, 20 and 10 thousand in cash, trophy medals and certificates respectively. Women's category will receive 10 thousand, 7 thousand and 5 thousand, children's category 5 thousand, 3 thousand and thousand and veterans' category will receive 10 thousand, 6 thousand and 4 thousand in cash, trophy mail and certificates.
The organizers of the competition are Athletics Association Panchthar, Kirant Dharma and Literature Utthan Association, Labrekuti Tourism Development Committee and Kirant Sangsen Barak Chotlung Manghimko.
