Host Thungram International Academy (TIA) 'A' secured a double victory in the boys' category of the 17th TIA Cup Inter-School Basketball Tournament on Saturday.

On the home court, TIA 'A' defeated Durga Bhavani by a score of 51-32, with Suman Nagarkoti scoring 19 points. In the next match, TIA 'A' defeated Himarshmi by a score of 47-32. Roshan Nagarkoti scored 22 points for the winner.

In the boys' category, BMCA defeated TIA 'B' by 33-22 and Wilson Academy defeated Greenland by 57-37. BMCA's Alok Karki scored 10 points and Wilson's Rehan Dangol scored 16 points.

In the girls' category, Himarshmi defeated TIA 'A' by 14-8 and Basundhara National Academy (BNA) defeated TIA 'B' by 17-10. Himarshmi's Purnima Karki scored 8 points and BNA's Prema scored 11 points.
