Karnali Yaks Sports Pvt. Ltd. has completed the NPL Trophy Tour in major cities, religious sites, and tourist areas in Karnali Province.

Karnali, in coordination with the Karnali Province Cricket Association, organized a trophy parade for the second Nepal Premier League at Kupinde Lake and Khalanga Bazaar in Salyan, Kankre Bihar in Surkhet, and Birendranagar. Thousands of students and locals watched the NPL trophy from close quarters.

The trophy was taken to the famous religious site of Deuti Bajyai Temple and sent to the Far West. Representatives of local bodies also participated enthusiastically in the program.

On Wednesday, Karnali Province Social Development Minister Ghanshyam Bhandari and Economic Affairs and Planning Minister Rajiv Bikram Shah unveiled the trophy from Kankre Bihar.

Along with representatives of Karnali Yaks, consultant coach Raju Basnyat, analyst Ravi Thapa, and players Bipin Prasad Sharma, Yunish Singh Thakuri, Pawan Saraf, Yubaraj Khatri, Imran Sheikh, and Deepak Dumre participated in the trophy parade.

In the first edition, Karnali Yaks reached the second qualifier.

Meanwhile, the Karnali Province Cricket Association will receive one lakh rupees for every match won by Karnali Yaks. Karnali consultant coach Raju Basnyat had announced that Asian Paints would provide one lakh rupees for the development of Karnali cricket for every match won by Karnali. Basnyat said that the amount will be given to the province cricket.
