Pushpasadan Residential Secondary School in Kirtipur is set to hold the fourth Pushpasadan Cup Valley-wide inter-school basketball tournament from Saturday. 51 teams from different schools will compete in three categories in the tournament, said Pushpasadan founder and director Mahesh Shrestha at a press conference on Thursday.
19 teams in senior boys, 7 in junior boys and 25 in girls will compete on a league-cum-knockout basis. The girls' competition will be in a three-by-three format.
The competition, which is free for community schools, will be held at the organizer's court in Kirtipur until Mangsir 1.
Founder Shrestha said that he has been organizing various levels of intelligence, table tennis, futsal and tandoori competitions and is preparing to organize a cricket competition soon.
