All preparations for the Singh Suwal Memorial Inter-ward Futsal Tournament have been completed. The tournament will be held at Lainchaur Futsal Ground from Kartik 22 to 29, organized by Kathmandu Metropolitan City Ward No. 23.
The competition will feature 26 teams from 25 wards, including Kathmandu Metropolitan City Center. The opening match will be between Kathmandu Metropolitan City and host Ward 23.
Host Ward 23 had called the participating teams on Thursday and drawn the match schedule.
The winning team in the knockout-based competition will be awarded Rs 200,000 along with a trophy. The runner-up team will receive Rs 100,000. The best player, highest scorer and best goalkeeper in each category will be awarded Rs 10,000 each.
Ward No. 14 won the title in the first edition, and Ward No. 16 won the title in the second edition.
