Liverpool triumph over Real

Alex McAllister scored the only goal as Liverpool beat Real Madrid 1-0 in the Champions League on Tuesday night. After the win, captain Virgil van Dijk advised his players not to get too excited. "It's a bit easier after winning two games in a row, but everyone has to be patient," he said.

Former Liverpool player Trent Alexander-Arnold returned to Anfield for the same game. He is a player from the club's academy. Former Liverpool player Xavi Alonso also returned to Anfield as a coach for the same game. This is the second time Real have lost in 20 games since he arrived.

Xavi did not express much regret over the defeat. He said, "There is not much to say about the team, this is just a league game, we are capable of handling it. We lost because we were weak in attack." Liverpool had previously lost six out of eight games in all competitions. However, this streak was stopped after defeating Aston Villa in the English Premier League.

For Real, goalkeeper Theo Kotwa made a series of saves to prevent six-time champions Liverpool from winning the title. "Everyone knows how good a player Kotwa is. But we were good on the day, so we deserved the win,' said Alistair, analyzing the match. Luis Diaz scored twice as Bayern Munich defeated defending champions Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) 2-1.

Arsenal, who are at the top of the English Premier League, defeated Slavia Prague 3-0. In that, Max Daumann, who entered the field as a substitute, became the youngest player in the history of the competition. He achieved this feat at the age of 15 years and 308 days. Bayern and Arsenal are in the top two places in the standings.

Bayern coach Vincent Kompany said, 'These are very important three points. Everyone knows that no one is going to win the Champions League title right now.' Diaz, the hero of Bayern's two goals, lasted only the first half on the field. He was sent off for a dangerous tackle on Achraf Hakimi. For Arsenal, Michail Marina scored twice and was naturally delighted with the win.

Atletico Madrid beat Union Saint-Gillois 3-1 and Tottenham beat Copenhagen 4-0. Italian champions Napoli drew 0-0 with Eintracht Frankfurt, Juventus and Sporting Lisbon drew 1-1 and Olympiacos and PSG drew 1-1.
