Tribhuvan Army Football Club defeated RS Pokhara FC by a wide margin of 6-0 in the final quarterfinal match of the LVD Jhapa Women's Gold Cup held at Dudhe Stadium on Thursday to secure a place in the semifinals.

Army, which dominated possession from the beginning of the game, kept the game under control by playing aggressively. Although forward Bimala Chaudhary missed a goal opportunity in the 10th minute, Jennifer Rana Magar headed in a free kick from defender Bimala Bik in the 16th minute to give the team the lead.

The free kick was received after Usha Shahi fouled Deepa Rai. Army doubled its lead in the 33rd minute. Taking advantage of a mistake by Pokhara's goalkeeper, Bimala Chaudhary scored a goal with a header. Hima Chaudhary assisted in this.

In the injury time of the first half, national player Bimala Bik finished brilliantly on a corner kick to increase the Army's lead to 3-0. Army controlled the pace of the game in the second half as well. In the 85th minute, Bimala Chaudhary scored her second personal goal with an assist from Sanju Kumal to take the Army to 4-0. Then in the 90th minute, Sharmila Thapa scored a goal from Bimala Bik's cross to make the team's lead 5-0.

In injury time, Bimala Chaudhary completed her hat-trick with a header from Anita Lamzel's corner and gave the team an easy 6-0 victory. Army's ball possession, passing and finishing were excellent in the game, while Pokhara's defense and goalkeeping were weak. For Army, Bimala Chaudhary scored a hat-trick, Bimala Bik, Jennifer Rana and Sharmila Thapa scored one goal each.

Bimala Chaudhary was declared the player of the match. She received Rs 15,000 in cash and a trophy.

With this, the semi-final equation of the LVD Jhapa Women's Gold Cup is complete. The first semi-final will be between Nepal Police Club and Sankata Football Club, and the second semi-final will be between APF Football Club and Tribhuvan Army Football Club. The final match of the tournament will be held on Kartik 24.

The winning team will receive Rs 10,000,000, while the runner-up will receive Rs 500,000. The best player will receive Rs 150,000, while the best goalkeeper, defender, midfielder, forward, coach, emerging player and top scorer will each receive Rs 25,000. The player of the match in each match will receive Rs 15,000 and a trophy.
