Surkhet's Kankre Bihar Youth Club and Dolakha's Tigers team have emerged victorious in the ongoing ANFA President's League in Hetauda.

In the first match held on Thursday, Kankrebihar Youth Club defeated Tanahun's Harans Club by a margin of 3-2 goals. For Kankrebihar, Sujan Balampaki Magar scored in the 32nd minute of the first half, Anish Chapagain in the 42nd minute and Anish Gharti Chhetri in the 68th minute. For Harans, Samiraj Thokar scored in the 58th minute and Bishwa Lama scored in the 84th minute. The Player of the Match was Kankrebihar's Rohan Karki. He received Rs 5,000.

Similarly, in the second match, Dolakha's Tigers team defeated Udaypur's Gaighat Football Club by 2-1 goals. For Tigers, Sushan Lama scored in the 12th minute and Anish Shrestha scored in the 43rd minute. For Gaighat, Yugan Rai scored a consolation goal in the 28th minute. The Player of the Match was Sushan for Tigers.

10 teams are participating in the competition, which is being conducted on a league-cum-knockout basis. The competition, which is being held at the Gauritar Stadium in Hetauda-6, will continue until November 2. The winning team of the competition will receive a shield, medal, and certificate along with Rs 1 million, while the runner-up will receive Rs 500,000.
