Swastika Bista and Shivali Gurung have reached the semifinals of the Mystic Mountain Grand Open tennis tournament.

On Wednesday, Swastika defeated Karmishtha Shrestha 6-0, 6-0 and Shivali defeated Salvi Sherchan 6-1, 6-0 in straight sets at the tennis courts in Satdobato.

In the men's singles, Pradeep Khadka defeated Devashish Reule 6-0, 6-1, Ayushman defeated Hazur Ghale 6-2, 6-1, Chhewang Lama defeated Nischal Kayastha 7-5, 6-4, Rajbir Pradhan defeated Sarvesh Khanal 6-0, 6-1, Pranab Manandhar defeated Bipul Adhikari 6-0, 6-2, Saksham Bikram Shah defeated Darshil Shrestha 6-4, 6-4, Nishan Shrestha defeated Asabsamrat Hada 6-0, 6-0 and Nihal Jung Thapa defeated Santosh Khatri 6-4, 6-3 to make it to the quarterfinals.

In the U-8 boys' singles tournament organized by Hotel Mystic Mountain, Gagan Shrestha defeated Bibhad Bhattachan 10-6, 8-10, 10-4 and Sarvagyajung Khatri defeated Satwik Malhotra 10-6, 10-6 to secure the title. In the girls' singles, Swarnima Shrestha defeated Benafsa Maharjan 10-6, 10-4 and Bhani Rajbhandari defeated Anupama Shrestha 10-8, 10-8 to secure a place in the final.

In the U-9 girls' singles, Nitmi Kunwar, Amira Gupta, Sahara Kayastha and Hiradevi AD won. In the boys' singles, Sarvagyajung Khatri won.

In the U-10 boys' singles, Sonam Ghale, Ahan Bhattarai, Kayan Chalise and Viral Agarwal won. Arit Malla, Nidhay Rana, Abhishek Bayalkoti, Vedanta Chalise, Sabyajung Karki, Sujan Kuinkel, Aryashraj Poudel and Bishwabishe Dallakoti won in the U-12 boys' singles. Sarah Thapa, Anushree Dhwaju, Sara Pant and Naira Ghale won in the girls' singles.

Surendra Bik, Asabsamrat Hada, Sange Rokaya and Darshil Shrestha won in the U-16 boys' singles.
