Sudurpaschim Royals have signed Australian batter Josh Brown as their fourth foreign player for the second Nepal Premier League (NPL).
Brown, who has performed well in Big Bash League (BBL) cricket, has scored 945 runs in 40 matches in T-20 cricket. Josh has scored the most runs in T-20s with 140. Only a few players have achieved this score in T-20s.
‘I am very excited about the news of coming to play in the NPL, I will meet the Nepali fans soon,’ Brown said in a Royals statement.
Sudurpaschim Royals Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Prakash Khadka said that Brown has left his mark in the BBL and is confident that he will perform well in Nepal as well.
The Sudurpaschim team consists of Deependra Singh Airi, Arif Sheikh, Binod Bhandari, Avinash Bohra, Deepak Bohra, Milan Bohra, Hemant Dhami, Ishan Pandey, Tek Rawat, Naren Saud, Dipendra Thapa, Scott Kuggeleijn, Chris Lynn, Harmit Singh and Josh Brown. The head coach is Jagat Tamata.
