The ANFA President's League, organized by the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA), is set to begin in Hetauda from Wednesday.

ANFA held a press conference in Hetauda on Monday and gave information about the ANFA President's League. ANFA spokesperson Suresh Shah said that 10 teams will compete in the President's League. Gaighat Football Club (Udaypur), Janajagruti Yuva Club (Bardiya), Deurali Youth Club (Dhankuta), Kakrebihar Youth Club (Surkhet), Nawajanajagruti (Bara), Vijay Sports Club (Kailali), Chitlang Football Club (Kathmandu), Harans Club (Tanahun), Tigers Team Tikathali (Dolakha) and Laligurans Association Club (Kaski) are participating.

The competition will be conducted on a league-cum-knockout basis. The competition to be held at the Gauritar Stadium in Hetauda Sub-metropolitan City-6 will be conducted until Mangsir 20. The four teams that reach the semi-finals will participate in the national league.

The winning team of the competition will receive Rs 1 million along with a shield, medal and certificate, while the runner-up will receive Rs 500,000. Spokesperson Shah said that the budget for the competition is Rs 15.454 crore.

The best player of the competition will receive Rs 50,000, while the best players in other disciplines will be given Rs 25,000 each, ANFA central member and competition coordinator Tikaram Lama said.
