Sudurpaschim Royals have re-signed American bowling all-rounder Harmeet Singh for the second edition of the Nepal Premier League (NPL). Harmeet took 8 wickets in 5 matches when Sudurpaschim reached the final last year.
He was the lowest economy bowler in the first season of the NPL. He only conceded 4.50 runs per over. After signing, Harmit said in a statement from Sudurpaschim, ‘I am returning to the Nepal Premier League once again. This time I have to complete the unfinished work of last season. I will meet the supporters soon.’
Harmit is currently playing in the World Cup League 2 in the UAE with the US team. With his high performance, the US has won its first 3 matches in Dubai. In the two matches against Nepal, he took 6 wickets and 27 runs unbeaten and 13 runs unbeaten and 3 wickets unbeaten. Similarly, he scored 14 runs unbeaten against the UAE.
Harmit is the third foreign player brought in by Sudurpaschim. Earlier, the team has taken Australia's Chris Lynn and New Zealand's Scott Kuggeleijn. Kuggelein was also on the Far West team last year.
