Kathmandu Gorkhaz have signed their fourth foreign player for the Nepal Premier League (NPL). All-rounder Ben Charlesworth has been brought in, the Gorkhaz announced on Saturday.

The 24-year-old all-rounder, who bats with both hands and bowls right-arm, has been playing for the English county for Gloucestershire. Charlesworth, who has represented England at the U-19 level, was part of the MI Emirates team in the UAE's IL T20 last season.

Kathmandu Gorkhaz, owned by Kathmandu Sports Development Ventures Pvt. Ltd., has already signed South African wicketkeeper-batsman Ricardo Vasconcelos, Namibian captain Gerhard Erasmus and American batsman Milind Kumar, who are currently playing in England, for this season.

Charlesworth made his first-class debut for Gloucestershire at the age of 17. Since then, he has been playing for the county for the same team and has scored 2754 runs in 57 matches at an average of 31+. He has scored 4 centuries and 15 half-centuries. He has also taken 30 wickets.

Charlesworth is on course to reach 1,000 runs in 28 List A matches. In Twenty20s, he has scored 776 runs in 44 matches, including 3 half-centuries. He has scored these runs at a strike rate of over 145. All the Twenty20 matches he has played have been for Vitality Blast.
