Kathmandu Gorkhaz have signed a commercial agreement with Shikhar Insurance for Nepal Premier League (NPL) cricket. Gorkhaz have announced that they have brought in Shikhar Insurance as a gold partner.

Gorkhaz will wear the Shikhar Insurance logo on both arms of their jerseys while playing in the NPL.

An agreement was signed between Gorkhaz and Shikhar Insurance on Thursday for this. The agreement was signed by Gorkhaz Executive Director Anubhav Sirohiya and Shikhar Insurance Chief Executive Director Deep Prakash Pandey. Both have not disclosed the financial aspects. 

Shikhar Insurance was the co-sponsor of Kathmandu Gorkhaz in the first season of the NPL last year. Gorkhaz has already signed an agreement with World Link as the main sponsor. In addition, Tulip Hotel is the official hospitality partner of the team. 

The players of the Kathmandu Gorkhaz team, captained by Karan KC, include Bhim Sarki, Sahab Alam, Rashid Khan, Adil Alam Ansari, Dipesh Kandel, Santosh Yadav, Akash Tripathi, Prateek Shrestha, Tul Bahadur Thapa, and Uttam Thapa. The team has already brought in foreign players Ricardo Vasconcelos, who has been playing in England, Namibian captain Gerhard Erasmus, and Milind Kumar, who is in excellent form in the United States.
