The win takes Inter to 18 points from nine games. Defending champions Napoli and AS Roma are tied on 21 points in the top two. Fiorentina, on the other hand, are in poor form and are struggling to avoid relegation.

They have four points from nine games and are in 19th place. In other matches, Tremendous beat Genoa 2-0 while Bologna and Torino drew 0-0.
