The win took Napoli to 18 points from eight games, one point ahead of second-placed Milan. Despite the defeat, Inter are third on 15 points.

Kevin De Bruyne, Scott McTominay and Andre-Frank scored for Napoli at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona. Elsewhere, Udinese beat Lecce 3-2, while Parma and Como drew 0-0.
